Princess Ann jumps out of the truck (more or less in front of Santa Maria degli Angeli?), on the west side of the Piazza Repubblica.
The Report for Thurs. 28 August lists "EXT. TRUCK - PIAZZA ESEDRA Stage 5." Perhaps the momentary scene of Ann jumping out?
Ann crosses east toward the fountain. She runs to lean against a tree, which is visible in the scene on the Piazza.

At last! Google Maps Street View comes through. This is indeed via Ruggero Fauro. Unmistakeable. The only clue missing in Google Street View is the round cornered building seen in this screen shot.
Going to Via Ruggero Fauro 22 in Google Earth shows a building that is a round cornered building behind via RF, to the northeast.
A tree has grown up, blocking the view of that building in Google Maps Street View. The filming location is definitely confirmed.

New correspondent Michael McCrohan notes, "some of the road is still there. The upper part, where Joe strolls down, has been closed off, but the part where Ann is lying is still there and fans may go there and take photos, in more peace and quiet, as the road is now a cul-de-sac."
They're both correct, in that while the road bed still exists, it has long been closed to traffic.

At Michael McCrohan's urging, and with his help, I've corrected the Locations for what we now call The Low Brick Wall.
"I have just got back from a visit to Rome (April 2010) and have some observations. In 05-04-02 Ann is lying on a low brick wall when Joe strolls by. The place where Ann is lying is also seen in the view in the credits 00-6, though of course Ann is not there in 00-6. The place where she would be lying is just below the 'o' of the word 'recorded.' But there is no brick wall at this place in 00-6, only the fence and the stone fence posts. It appears that the low brick wall was a fake wall specially built in front of the fence so that Ann could be lying on it.
"Also, some of the road is still there. The upper part, where Joe strolls down, has been closed off, but the part where Ann is lying is still there and fans may go there and take photos, in more peace and quiet, as the road is now a cul-de-sac. The fence has however been replaced by a higher brick wall (a real one), a bit daunting to climb up and lie down on. Presumably the reason the road was closed off was to prevent heavy traffic passing through the Forum and so close to the Arch of Septimius Severus, as actually shown in 00-6."

Later, Mike wrote,
"I totally agree that the scene of Joe’s encounter with Anne in the forum looks as though it was all filmed on location. I think the LBW was built in the actual location, but to me as someone who works in construction, that brick wall looks like it’s made of real bricks. I know props people can work wonders in making things look realistic, but that wall really does look like a real one, and in any case a fake wall would have to be as solid and heavy as bricks to avoid it shaking when they are lying or sitting on it. A bricklayer working for the film unit could put a wall like that up in a couple of hours, using the driest possible mortar, and it would be easily demolished the next day with no damage to the surroundings.
The only part of the scene that could have been filmed in the studio could have been the scenes in the taxi, once they are all inside it, but I have my doubts even on that."
I reviewed the relevant scenes, and noticed that the view out the taxi windows in the closeups was not the iron fence seen in the Forum. So I have corrected the Locations as now seen above.
How Princess Ann and Joe each got from Piazza Repubblica to the Forum is the first bit of geographical laxity in the movie. That's a fairly long walk for a young woman struggling against a sleeping drug, and a really long way 'round for Joe to walk home to via Margutta.
